Sean P. Constable joined Block O’Toole & Murphy in 2009. Since joining the firm, Sean has already been instrumental in resolving several significant cases, including a settlement for $1,650,000 in a wrongful death action. Sean, in an example of how hard work and cagey lawyering can dramatically alter the outcome of a case, held the building owner accountable for a deadly fire. The fire spread thoughout the high rise building as a result of several building code violations. Sean worked tirelessly on behalf of the family and the estate of the deceased to make sure justice was done.
Sean brings with him over ten years of civil litigation experience. Prior to joining Block O’Toole & Murphy, Sean worked at a prominent New York City litigation law firm and in the law department of the Long Island Rail Road Company. Over his career, Sean has developed an expertise in railroad worker injury claims under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, and has litigated several multi-million dollar catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death matters. In addition to his trial experience, Sean has argued appeals in both state and federal courts. Sean’s experience provides him with a unique perspective to the thought processes and litigation
strategies of corporate defendants, and will prove to be a great benefit to the clients of Block O’Toole & Murphy.
