A Message from Our Firm

Dear Valued Friends and Colleagues of Block O'Toole & Murphy,

To begin, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during this uncertain time as the effects of COVID-19 continue to impact our daily lives. Now more than ever, it is important that we all work together to support those who have been affected by the virus and to protect those at risk.

The safety of our employees, clients, and colleagues is of utmost importance to us. When the situation first began to escalate in New York City, our team worked quickly to ensure that all employees had the ability to work from home. Thankfully, starting March 13th, our office has been able to operate remotely without issue. Our entire staff has full access to all the necessary software and files. During this time, the courts in New York are closed, with the exception of emergency proceedings, until further notice. Despite these difficulties, our firm will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of our clients and we are open to accepting new matters. We will continue to help those in our community who have been negatively impacted in an accident and require legal assistance. Please, do not hesitate to contact us; we are here and we are ready to help.

Our main office phone number, 212-736-5300, continues to be operational during this time. We respond promptly to all inquiries. We ask our colleagues to please scan and email paper documents to [email protected] whenever possible.

The COVID-19 crisis is an incredibly difficult time for all of us. Together, we will come out of this stronger than we were before. Please, continue social distancing and follow all other guidelines put forward by the CDC and your respective local government officials.

We at Block O'Toole & Murphy thank you for your continued efforts to protect our community and appreciate your loyalty and patience during this time. We hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy and focus on the light at the end of the tunnel.

Best wishes,

Jeffrey A. Block, Daniel P. O'Toole & Stephen J. Murphy
