Union Laborer Awarded $2,700,000.00 For Ankle Injury Sustained In Fall At Construction Site

Plaintiff was a 34 year old union laborer at the time of the accident.

DESCRIPTION OF CASE

At the time of the accident, Plaintiff was working as a laborer for the Cement and Concrete Worker's Union at a construction project at the Hilton Hotel in Manhattan. As Plaintiff was climbing down an exterior form wall, Plaintiff fell approximately 8-10 feet, landing on a platform below.

DAMAGES

As a result of the accident Plaintiff suffered ligament tears to his right ankle. Due to his injuries, Plaintiff underwent two arthroscopic surgeries to his right ankle.

SETTLEMENT

The matter was settled prior to trial for $ 2,700,000.00
