SUMMARY OF CASE

The client, 51, an HVAC Worker, was doing demolition work at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. He was working on a 6 foot A frame ladder at the time of the accident. He was standing on the 4 th step. He was using both of his hands to demolish and remove the existing air conditioning ducts and was pulling the duct work toward him with both hands when the ladder became unstable and fell. He fell along with the ladder landing on his right foot and striking his right side.
