$2,000,000 Recovered by Union Carpenter After Work-Related Fall

Plaintiff was a Local 7 union carpenter. At the time of the accident, Plaintiff was exiting a jobsite trailer to begin the day's work when he was caused to fall down a negligently installed and negligently maintained temporary staircase. Plaintiff fell approximately 5 feet to the pavement, losing consciousness and suffering injuries to his wrist, knee, shoulder and lower back. The plaintiff had surgeries to his wrist, knee and shoulder.

The case settled for $2,000,000 right before jury selection. The case was handled by Daniel P. O'Toole, Scott Occhiogrosso and Stephen J. Murphy.
