$1,900,000 Settlement for Woman Who Suffered Back and Neck Injuries in a Slip and Fall Accident

On August 2, 2010, the Plaintiff slipped and fell at her place of employment while walking down freshly mopped steps. As a result of her fall, the Plaintiff suffered neck and back injuries, including three cervical disc bulges and four cervical disc herniations. As a result of her injuries, she was required to undergo a cervical fusion surgery and subsequently a lumbar fusion surgery. The Plaintiff also made a claim for future lost wages as she was disabled from returning to work and a claim for her future medical needs and costs related thereto.

Result: The case settled before trial for $1,900,000.
