$1,675,000 settlement for a woman who injured her neck in a collision with a delivery truck in Harlem

Accident
Our client was driving to work in her Nissan sedan, when the front of her car collided into the side of a delivery truck that was attempting to make a left turn in front of her.

Injuries
Our client was a 37 year old woman and a mother of one, who worked in sales. She injured her neck in this accident. MRI testing revealed a herniated disc in her cervical spine that was impacting her spinal cord. As a result, after physical therapy failed to relieve her pain, she ultimately underwent a one-level cervical spine fusion surgery. We claimed damages for her pain and suffering, medical expenses and lost earnings.

Settlement
The case settled prior to trial for $1,675,000.
